Terms of Service
By contacting me for work you are hereby agreeing to all the terms expressed below, and held accountable should any subsequent repercussions take place.
I will only accept full, instantaneous payment upfront through PayPal, and will not begin drawing until I have confirmed that I have received it. You cannot pay in “exposure” either.
Only send payment once I have explicitly confirmed that you have been entered into a commission slot.
I reserve the right to deny any request, regardless of whether it is allowed in my “do’s” or not.
Please refrain from asking for exceptions if it is in my don’ts section, as the answer should be clear. (if what your looking for is in neither section, you are welcome to ask me about it)
Finished work will be delivered via email for full resolution (unless you inform me otherwise) and/or one social media of choice there will be no physical copies, however, you may print them out for PERSONAL use ONLY.
Turnaround time should be around 4 days - 2 weeks, should any unexpected delay occur, (getting sick, personal issues etc) I will inform you and won’t charge any extra. No penalties will be accepted for canceled work.
If there is anything you aren’t sure of that you’d like to do with my art, or is otherwise not specified in the terms of service or rest of the website, inform/ask me before taking any action.
I reserve the right to stop working at any phase, for any reason, and you will be refunded accordingly.
Completed work is non-refundable, however, WIPs are and you can request one at any given time.
The percentage refunded is dependent on how much work I’ve done, which you can see below:
No Work: 95% Refund (this takes into account the PayPal fees)
Sketches: 65% Refund
Linework: 50% Refund
Base Color: 35% Refund
Shading: 10% Refund
[once I've started colouring lineart, the piece is essentially finished and there won’t be any refunds provided]
If you or I have misunderstood the price (either over or under-charged) I will gladly return the proper amount in full / Ask for the difference.
Rush prices are 85% more than the original price, and will still take around 1-3 days to complete. Keep in mind any IRL event, unfortunately, takes priority.
I retain the right to deny rush requests for any reason.
I retain the copyright for any commissioned piece and reserve the right to post, share or publish it.
[This is applicable even if it is yours or someone else’s OC, in which case I will own the art, and the creator of the character will own the OC.]
After submitting the final piece, there will be no changes at a later date.
Unless consented by me, any and all alterations/edits to the commission must be made by me. No other person is authorized to edit my work.
I, the artist retain no responsibility or liability for what the client or third parties do with the artwork once the artwork is completed.
Files are guaranteed to be stored for a maximum of 30 days, if you for any reason lose the file I am more than happy to resend it. Once the 30 days have passed, however, there is no assurance I will still have them.
You may not cover/obscure/replace my watermark, nor claim the art as your own.
You may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in NON-COMMERCIAL digital format, but you cannot alter the artwork itself. (credit must still be provided, and watermarks still visible)
Should you post or share any commissioned piece, you must provide proper and clear credit.
All WIPs are confidential until the work is completed and sent.
All of my artwork is explicitly for personal use ONLY. You may not sell/use the art as an NFT, advertisement, adoptable or make any profit off the art.
Under no circumstance will I sell the commercial rights or copyright of the art.
I will not make any large alterations (ex: changing outfits, poses etc.) past the sketching phase. Once I have begun the lineart, I only allow 5 minor alterations (if you are unsure of whether or not an alteration is minor rest assured I will inform you). Once those are used up, nothing besides the colours can be changed. Make sure that you are certain of what you’d like before giving me the heads up to continue onto lineart.
If I have misunderstood anything, I won’t charge extra for fixing my mistake.
Prices can be changed at any point without previous notice (nevertheless, prices that have been agreed upon will be respected). Promotions cannot be combined.
Work that has already been started, cannot be affected by promotions, incentives, or any other kind of offer.
